“The Éloizes is always a very special occasion for artists and audiences to come together, says Jac Gautreau, artistic director of the event. This year, we are showcasing the artistic process, revealing it and celebrating it. Every work of art comes out of a journey of the heart and mind, and we wanted to imagine events where the creative path is uncovered so the audience get a better understanding of how artists work.”
Carmen Gibbs, Executive Director of the AAAPNB and Producer of the Éloizesexplains: "We are thrilled to announce this exciting program designed by our artistic director, Jac Gautreau. During the Éloizes, more than 75 artists will present their work on stage, in galleries, on the streets and in classrooms. We have imagined and created a fantastic variety of arts activities for the Éloizes 2016; there's something for everyone, and the Éloizes will capture the imaginations of children and adults alike."
