Got VHS?

Call for entries: “Home Bodies” – A programme of locally sourced VHS tape as part of the Halifax Independent Film Festival (HIFF), April 2013.

Submit your videotapes, and help us curate a programme of VHS ephemera. We are interested in off-broadcast TV recordings and homemade projects (“home movies”) recorded on VHS. Videotapes used for training and promotion are also welcome. Together, we will see what VHS remembers.

Please submit entries (in person or by post) with contact information to the Atlantic Filmmakers Cooperative (AFCOOP):
Attn: Martha Cooley/5663 Cornwallis St., Suite 101/Halifax, NS/B3K 1B6

Deadline for submissions: Feb 20th

Submitting material grants us permission to use it in the programme. Please give a brief description of clips of interest on the tape and indicate their timecodes.
Please make sure your tapes are labeled, so you can pick them up from AFCOOP after April 13.

For more information about the programme, contact Jennifer VanderBurgh .
